INTER FACE is a modular electronic instrument designed and built for live performance. It’s behaviour is determined by the relationships and signal routes established between its modules. Each face is an independent module with patch points embedded directly into the surface. Faces can be added, rearranged, and reconnected. Modulation operates through RF interference and signal bleed. Control surfaces are built from devalued currency coins, extending the circuit logic of Currency Exchange into a multi-module, multi-body system.

INTER FACE was built for USER SYNDROME, performed during the CTM 2024 Festival at Radialsystem.

Electronic Instrument Design: Rhea Dally; Sculptures: Freya Edmondes; developed at Morphine Raum with the support of Rabih Beaini. Made possible by CTM Radio Lab 2024.
