[2014]
The PVC Pipe Organ is a large-scale acoustic instrument constructed from PVC pipes, designed for outdoor installation and built for AfrikaBurn 2014. The instrument was developed through iterative prototyping, tuning, and testing, cutting and tuning pipes to specific pitches, shaping pipe mouths to stabilize tone, and designing a manual airflow system for reliable playability.
Built under the mentorship of Izan Greyling.
